The annual USAEDC Attaché Seminar will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda in Bethesda, MD. This year's meeting will be a "Global Lite" conference, with an expected attendance of approximately 25 attaches. The program is being formulated and as always, your input regarding topics for the Concurrent Attache Break-Out sessions and the Concurrent Topical Break-Out sessions is being sought. Please send your suggestions to Annie Durbin at adurbin@usdaec.org.

The FY2009 USAEDC Annual Workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 and Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel (formerly the Omni). In addition, if a need is identified for an intensive all-day session on a topic identified by FAS or by the membership, that will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.
Finally, if sufficient interest is expressed FAS will be asked to reproduce the very successful and information-rich course on Friday morning entitled "FAS 101 for New Cooperator Staff".
Any topics or areas that you would like to have included in this meeting should be sent to USAEDC headquarters to the attention of Annie Durbin.
